QM-615 SLIM-LINE IN-CEILING SPEAKER The QM-615 is a slim-line in-ceiling speaker designed for both residential and light commercial applications where an inconspicuous look is desired. Streamlining the in-ceiling speaker look with a modern thin-edge frame and low-profile micro-perforated grille, the QM-615 is virtually unnoticeable. Perhaps the most attractive in-ceiling speaker in RBH’s lineup, the QM-615 features a modern design enhanced by a paintable, micro-perforated grille which covers all but the last 5mm of the speaker’s paintable frame. This thin-edge design allows the speaker to be practically hidden in the ceiling. The QM-615 is the ideal speaker for many multi-room or home theater applications where freestanding speakers may be impractical or even impossible. The QM-615’s innovative quick-cam mounting mechanism dramatically reduces installation time. Four quick-cam mechanisms require only a simple push with either the supplied installation tool or a Phillips screwdriver. When triggered, the quick cam automatically swings into position and securely locks the speaker into place. With the installation hole already cut, the QM-615 can literally be installed in just a few seconds; no other tools (except wire strippers) are required to install this speaker. Capitalizing on the proven performance of the ultra-popular A-615 in-ceiling speaker, the QM-615 is a great value and employs a 6½-inch diameter PolyGraphite cone woofer for strong bass and smooth midrange, and a 1-inch Nano-silk dome swivel tweeter for crystal clarity. The QM-615 also features a sound contour switch allowing the tweeter level to be adjusted to -3dB, 0dB or +3dB for optimal performance regardless of position or decor. The QM-615 is well suited for distributed sound throughout the home and can also be used for surround sound systems. The QM-615 is packaged with a dual-purpose installation and removal tool, grille adhesive; hole cutout template and paint mask.
